We’re already gearing up for the 2009 Kosmos Camp amid the majestic redwoods of Cazadero Camp and once again we excited to announce major new additions!

First, we're incredibly happy to announce an additional night of the Kosmos experience. This time out, Kosmos will add a day and run Wednesday through Sunday, June 10th-14th, 2009. That means more dance, more music, more shows, more yoga, more jam sessions, and more relaxing in general! With seven hours of classes Thursday through Saturday, plus an additional 4 hours on Sunday, you’ll get a staggering 25 hours of top-flight dance, music, and yoga instruction by some of the best talent in the world. And as always, we'll offer the high-caliber performances that you’ve come to expect of Kosmos Camp each evening, with late-night jam sessions down by the fire pit after. Of course you'll enjoy 12 healthy and delicious meals served by our own professional chef, Siam Moeini.

As always, If you have any questions or ideas about how to improve the camp, please don't hesitate to contact me directly at: matthew@kosmoscamp.com.

We recognize that the economy is impacting a lot of people so we’ve worked hard to make the Kosmos Camp the best deal around. Add it all up and this is an amazing value at $445 (that’s less than $20 for each hour of class, not even factoring in the shows and the lodging and the meals and all the other amenities!) Take advantage of the $75 Early Bird discount (good through the end of 2008) and Kosmos Camp only costs a ridiculously low $370. Think of it as 25 hours of classes from the biggest names in music and dance for only $15/hour, plus the shows, food, lodging, and extras are all free! Quite simply, a better deal just doesn’t exist.

Well... One better deal does actually exist: A very limited number of half-price work scholarships are available for people willing to contribute a few hours a day helping make the camp work. Space is limited, so contact us as soon as possible to secure your deal.

And we’ve been listening to your feedback to continue making Kosmos the best it can possibly be. We're adding a fourth dance floor so we'll have room for four dance classes at the same time. We’re adding menu items, based on your suggestions. Evening performances will start a bit earlier. And we’re bringing back a couple of Kosmos’ favorite teachers by popular demand!

The legendary Jill Parker, founder of Ultra Gypsy, and red-hot Amy Sigil, director of Unmata, will be returning to the Kosmos staff this year. We'll also be adding the mystical Afro-Brazilian dancer Paco Gomes and the profound Persian singer/multi-instrumentalist Hamed Nikpay to the lineup. Of course, we're always excited to welcome back Naby, Faisal, Vicki, Fattah, Karamba, and so many of the other talented Kosmos instructors that have graced previous year’s camps. Click here to check out the entire 2009 Kosmos camp teaching/performance staff.

So save some cash and reserve your spot for this magical event early…
We can’t wait to see you at Kosmos Camp this year!

-Matthew
