In addition to all the amazing talent, campers enjoy the natural charm of Northern California's Cazadero Camp, located just an hour outside Santa Rosa in the rolling hills north of the Russian River. The site is on 1,000 acres of open meadow and has groves of towering redwoods, madrones, firs and oak trees. Our comfy tent cabins include decks, electricity, and cots with mattresses. While the days are typically very comfortable, you can cool off and lounge by the pool or take a dip in the creek that runs through the camp. All meals (plus late-night desserts!) are included and provided by our professional chef and feature a gourmet menu with an eclectic array of world cuisines. Evenings feature stellar concerts and dance performances by students and staff in the open-air amphitheatre, and open-floor dancing with late-night jamming alongside the roaring campfire afterwards. |

The 2010 Kosmos Camp is fast approaching! Once again, Kosmos will run 5-days/4-nights for more dance, more music, more shows, more yoga, more jam sessions, and more relaxing in general! With seven hours of classes Thursday through Saturday, plus an additional 4 hours on Sunday, you’ll get a staggering 25 hours of top-flight instruction for prices starting below $400! That's only $15/hour for workshops by some of the best talent in the world... plus, at that rate, the shows, food, lodging, and extras are all free! And this year's teaching staff adds some big names, with Shoshana, Joti Singh, Carlos Caro, Alfredo Caceres, Dudley Flores, Azriel Goldschmidt, and Jordan Wilson. The mystical Afro-Brazilian dancer Paco Gomes and the profound Persian singer/multi-instrumentalist Hamed Nikpay will be joining the returning staff that includes Naby, Faisal, Vicki, Fattah, Karamba, and so many of the other talented Kosmos instructors that have graced previous year’s camps.
