About Kosmos Camp

Kosmos Camp’s reputation in the California performing arts community has been growing since it began in 2003, making it one of northern California’s premiere music and dance events. Matthew Furey started Kosmos Camp as a weekend event among fellow musicians & dancers.  He believes that our urban societies can be isolating and thus a sense of community can be lacking.  This is the overarching purpose of Kosmos Camp, to offer us, as musicians and dancers, a sense of community and tradition.  Matthew and his wife Elisa run the event with the active support of the Furey family. The Furey family caters to the needs of Kosmos Camp participants. We are all very proud that Kosmos Camp will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary next year! We hope you can join us for what surely will be a memorable time!
